When ordering a Virtual Compute, Storage or Compute+ service, one of the two options for operating system installation is via mounting of the requested iso.

This however means that you will need to complete the install process manually as user / network information is not passed to the installer.

 

Currently we support the following Operating System Images, however you may request additional via support ticket;

  • AlmaLinux 8.5
  • CentOS 7
  • CentOS 8.5
  • Debian 10
  • Debian 11
  • Fedora 27
  • Fedora 29
  • FreeBSD 13
  • Rocky Linux 8
  • Ubuntu 18.04
  • Ubuntu 20.04

 

How to complete your Image Install

  1. Navigate to the selected products 'details page'.
  2. Select 'noVNC Console' from the 'Actions' menu. 
    • Virtual Actions Menu
  3. Once loaded the 'noVNC Console' will provide you access directly to your server so that you may configure it.
    • Virtual noVNC
